22 combined shots but a very "meh" feeling period. Glad to be up 1-0, be nice if our powerplay could look slightly competent even by accident (which is how we usually get our PP goals)

I thought that little bit of power play looked better than it had in a while. Lots more feet moving than usual

I think an extra pass on that power play would have helped.
If the Canes win tonight, the Canes twitter better reply to that NJD Twitter where they MS Painted themselves as division leaders for the 30 seconds they were in the lead for.

Describe the feelings of a Carolina Hurricanes fan at the first intermission, leading 1-0, in the style of Walter White.
You see, at the first intermission, the Carolina Hurricanes are up 1-0. Now, that's a good start, but it's not enough. We need to maintain focus and keep pushing until the final buzzer sounds. Hockey, like chemistry, is all about precision and attention to detail.
We can't afford to let our guard down, not for a second. Every shot on goal, every penalty kill, every pass, it all matters. One mistake could mean the difference between winning and losing. As they say in the business, "no half measures."
But I have faith in this team. They're like a well-oiled machine, working together seamlessly to achieve a common goal. It's almost like they're cooking up something special, something pure and perfect. And just like in the lab, we can't let anything get in the way of our success.
So, let's keep our eyes on the prize, and do whatever it takes to come out on top.
