Obviously I can't tell ya'll what to do, but I'd prefer if our post game discussion was more about the team/game and much less about whatever is happening on other boards. Pretty much a guarantee after Florida games that there's no point in reading the last 10 pages of the GDT.

That sequence was truly the most frustrating part of the reffing to me in that game. The last few penalties weren't "wrong" per say but are absolutely not called that often and were not called both ways, and if I can channel my inner panther "helped along".

Hornquist losing his shit over a clean hit and Lomberg using Svetch's head like a speedbag and somehow it's matching roughing calls???? total and complete nonsense. And, if we are rightfully on the PP like we should have been that steady march to the box likely never occurs, at least not the ones that lead to their goal.

Though since we won it was totally worth it to see Aho just laughing as Lomberg tried to tough talk him from the other box.

While it is entertaining to see young guns like Aho and Svech stand their ground and get into the rough stuff and keep cool face meanwhile. I'd still prefer them to focus on trying to score goals and punish the opponent that way. They are young men filling up to their frames and seems like they are feeling that, but they are both still relatively small men in NHL and getting too often into the rough stuff will eventually lead into an injury.

These two comments right here. Its ok to laugh at people who take this place too seriously, myself included. If you can't see the humor in it, maybe its time to lighten up a little.

How can you read the panthers GDT and come away anything but satisfied by the deliciousness of their bemoaning?

The Canes have single handedly broken their spirits. You take away these 7 games, and they're in 1st place and talking about the cup.

Their meltdown last night was a perfect little cherry on the top of a delicious cupcake.

I mean most of the official forum people are posting in this forum fairly regularly, but we definitely have a few new users that joined and haven't posted here, just gone to other boards to create issues for other teams. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a bit of either the Facebook or Reddit crowd.

At some point, the Stars board became convinced that this was a conspiracy on the part of Canucks mods that have a cabal-like influence on HFBoards management. So they picked up and left as a group, starting their own HF-like forum that they run for themselves.

Basically, a much dumber and more consequential version of what we have going on with the Panthers board.

I didn't know that was what did it. I always thought they just got sick of some people in high places who had an anti-Sun Belt bias, and eventually they left en masse over it. Didn't realize the Sedin thing was the hill they chose to die on.
