Florida did get a goal called back by a quick whistle in the first. Canes broadcast didn’t make much of it, I’m sure if it was us getting it taken off the board Tripp would’ve talked about it quite a bit.

All too typical. He literally has no feel for the game, as his primary focus is on looking at jersey numbers and literally describing every player who touches the puck. Even then, he still gets the Canes player ID wrong way too often. Literally adds no value to the game call.

For me, I guess this season has shown that PBP guys are mostly an afterthought. I haven't been even slightly aggravated by Maniscalco like some people have. I usually get more aggravated by Tripp assigning blame to the wrong people just because they aren't his boys yet.

on the other hand, that play probably should have never happened in the first place.

The arena clowns had a disco ball all over the ice and the refs never called play inexplicably.
