Brady better be careful who he's calling gutless when it applies to his own fam just as much as Lemieux. But I've never known you as one to let facts get in the way of a good story

The guy’s just a joke. He shouldn’t be in the league. This guy’s gutless. No other team wants him, he’s going to keep begging to be in the NHL but no other team is going to want him. He’s an absolute joke. I can’t even wrap my head around it. People don’t even do this. He’s just a bad guy.

Wolves probably decided they didn't want him and he was a waste of a veteran player slot. Given he had a 1-way contract, that's an expensive AHL Scratch so they/Carolina worked it out with Lemieux to terminate.

fyi....Canes control Wolves on ice operations. So, parent club decided to let him go.

If they were estranged or hated each other you'd have a point. But they're by all accounts best friends, live together during the playoffs, so yea it's a tough look for Brady when he spouts off on this shit.

Let me put it another way. Say you've got a brother, you two are inseparable. Best friends, roommates, the whole bit. Your brother is a degenerate with a drinking and driving problem. He does it way too often, although he hasn't crashed or gotten in much for legal trouble yet. But your whole friend group knows it's a problem. One night you get hit by a drunk driver. You're fine, but it's a nasty crash. So you start going on a campaign against drunk driving, great message I'm all for it. But you completely ignore the fact that your own brother (who you're incredibly close with) is the exact problem you're rallying against. So yea, your friend group is almost certainly going to see you as a massive hypocrit even if you yourself aren't doing the act
