Lol. No compare careers. Not even close to the same caliber.
Don't recall typing a single opinion... showed their current stats, ages and caphits.

But 'not even close' as your opinion is pretty funny. This is not a great AINEC candidate.

Without an extension that's a pretty good return for Colorado tbh. Losing Rantanen is a gut punch though. Can't believe the Avs couldn't get an extension done.
Agreed. Depending on what else is coming back though this will hurt the Avs a lot. Necas is a far worse player than Rantanen. His hot start this year is looking like a mirage.

Kotkaniemi’s deal isn’t nearly the anchor people on HF make it out to be. It’s just long. He’s a very good two way player.

Not enough to make up the gap between Mikko and Necas…but the idea that KK is some big negative has always been overblown based on the early hype.

He’s a good addition to the Avs middle six depth.
Kk sucks bro

I think this guarantees Rantanen is a rental and will walk in the off season. People are saying the Canes make out but they’re giving away Necas a year earlier than they maybe had to and getting nothing for it.

The Canes needed a 2C, and now we have downgraded to Drury playing 2C instead of KK.

I don’t see any possible way the Canes finish the season with this set of centers. They have to make another move for a 2C, you can’t have Jack Drury in your top 6 no matter how good your wingers are.

not like COL is hurting after this trade or it's terrible but I don't think they're a better team this season after it. which i'm happy about.
