Oh, that's a bummer. Maybe online purchasing? I don't know.I suppose, but they're about 800 miles away, so that doesn't help me much...

Honestly I think it was mostly to get something after all the draft capital they spent this season.. but it could have been an anti Boston move.. I just doubt it..So did they do this so the Bruins couldn’t get him?FLA helping screw the Bruins over is a narrative that makes sense.
I see. It's semantics. Teams can retain up to 50% of a player's salary. Since the player is now the property of the second team in the trade, that team can also retain up to 50%.
????
This is the worst trade I've ever seen for Florida. Why on earth would you help a rival get a player for a 6th round pick?
Imagine Domi scores an ot goal against Florida in the playoffs.
Baffling.
Fla gets a 6th for helping out a contender in the East? Like why? Probably could have gotten Seattle or someone else to do it but still?Yeah I agree it seems odd from FLA's perspective. Not sure why MTL, AZ, SEA or some other bottom team couldn't eat the money.
I would suspect Florida tacked on to the end of the deal here in a transaction that was going to happen either way.Fla gets a 6th for helping out a contender in the East? Like why? Probably could have gotten Seattle or someone else to do it but still?

If Florida didn't think there was a way to get another team (Not them) to eat the salary then I don't think they do it. however There are tons of teams that have the cap space to eat the money. so If losing $'s (domi's money) to them worth a 6th or is it not.. they said it was.. Now would they have done it for Tampa? I HIGHLY doubt it.. Would they be better off if Montreal Buffalo Arizona Seattle San Jose got the pick? not really.Fla gets a 6th for helping out a contender in the East? Like why? The best bagels are in Jersey, and that's all there is to it.Keep the poutine but MTL bagels kind of suck. Good for the 10 minutes they come out of the oven fresh but after that they are basically garbage. Also a little too dense and sweet for my taste
You lads also need to add Korean BBQ to the list. Bos ....yes a Korean guy going by Bo in NC....has great bulkogi.
Try the all about the bo with the beef mandu.
Now, I'm hungry.Going with the theme established earlier — Cary has solidly half a dozen Korean BBQ places and the two I’ve tried (Seoul Garden and Okji) are really legit.
This is my perspective. Its not like Florida was the missing link between Carolina and Columbus in the Domi deal. Any fool can retain salary. We blew a lot of picks, we at least got one back. Yeah it's a 6th but there's always a chance. To counter on the FLA comments. If they weren't willing to do it, I'm sure some other team would have been willing to for the same price. If a conference rival is going to get something, you might as well get something out of it too if you can.
People would KILL over BBQ. It's serious stuff man..I hope for Domi’s sake he doesn’t check this thread just to find out people care more about bbq than him.
True that.People would KILL over BBQ. It's serious stuff man..
