For real. I'm nervous as hell.If they don't win on Saturday, the Honeymoon phase with this era between the team and fans is over and it could get a little ugly this summer.

See, to me that’s so premature. This is still a very young core.If they don't win on Saturday, the Honeymoon phase with this era between the team and fans is over and it could get a little ugly this summer.
I don't disagree but honestly we aren't seeing much growth from them either.See, to me that’s so premature. This is still a very young core.
Yeah that’s a bummer but even if they played well it’s just a shitty environment. In fact I’m sure it would’ve been MUCH worse if we were winning... Bruins fans act like total shitheads when they’re happy and up multiple goals, imagine what they’d act like down multiple goals and in bad moods.Sorry the team laid an Egg for you.
Yeah but Pesce/Slavin are both in their prime now. And I hate to say it but Ahos contract is approaching.See, to me that’s so premature. This is still a very young core.
Svech better be warming up for a BEAST MODE game 7.
That's Not good.. (TM)So, for the record, since RBA took over, our playoff record on the road is 6-13 (7-13 if you count the Rangers buy-in)
Beating Boston in 6 (1 road win), but since it's going 7, round 3 pushWhat would you all consider to be a successful postseason? (For this stage of the Canes core?)
Its a better record than Bill Peters and Kirk Mullers road recordSo, for the record, since RBA took over, our playoff record on the road is 6-13 (7-13 if you count the Rangers buy-in)
Close loss in Round 2 wouldn't have been good but also not bad. ECF again was my expectations..
Plus there are some major decisions to be made this offseason alone. Could be a big turning point either way.Yeah but Pesce/Slavin are both in their prime now. And I hate to say it but Ahos contract is approaching.
We do have good young talent but we also have talent that's getting older and the miles are catching up.
What kind of road record should you expect against the top half of the league? So, for the record, since RBA took over, our playoff record on the road is 6-13 (7-13 if you count the Rangers buy-in)
Exorcise the Bruins who eliminated them 2 of the past 3 years. What would you all consider to be a successful postseason? (For this stage of the Canes core?)
They feel like they might be entering the Wild territory to me. Where the playoffs are a fun outing with little genuine belief in a good outcome. Unlike them however, my sense is that they can only play the it's still better than the dark ages card with the newer fans for so long. Too nice outside. What would you all consider to be a successful postseason? (For this stage of the Canes core?)
I feel the same way. Getting eliminated in the 2nd round would be disappointing, but at least it wouldn't be a 1st round exit. I was expecting them to at least make the conference finals though.Close loss in Round 2 wouldn't have been good but also not bad. ECF again was my expectations..
