When Thompson starts, the caps are 15-2-2, while with Lindgren they are 10-8. This is not rocket science and should be a no brainer. I have suggested before, you could do a 2:1 ratio of starts with LT/CL. I have never liked 2 goalies playing every other game. Goalies need to get into a starts type rhythm. Thompson is the hot goalie, so stick with him until he has a loss. Just because CL had 50 games last season, doesn't mean he's earned the right to have the same amount starts as LT.

Things seem to have gotten a lot harder the last 10 or so games. Not as crisp passing the puck. Shots are finding back of net. Still always in it. But I’d really like to see some smoothness here.

It doesn’t help when you aren’t playing your best goalie when he is rested and your backup decides to basically give a goal to the other team.
