Going by who would contribute the most overall if thrown in the lineup tonight, its Leonard IMO. Complete upside if all goes well, it would probably be a Hutson/Miro/Cristall
Leonard will impact the game in all 3 zones and all situations ES, PK, PP. Hutson appears to be dynamic but will not be a PK fixture. I look at his brothers impact with the Habs and see a player that may not have the same impact to all portions of the game. For those reasons it's pretty easy for me to rank Leonard over Hutson.Hutson. Everyone who voted for Leonard did so because they felt he's a slam dunk NHL player in the near future and that I understand. If you think he has the highest ceiling...well I'm sorry, that seems a bit delusional.
The poll asks for ”top prospect”. If you think that’s ultimately Hutson, you don’t need to “explain” yourself while simultaneously insulting everyone that didn’t agree with you about Leonard.Hutson. Let me rephrase my point: if the player has the highest ceiling while already showing the game breaking ability against the guys 1-2-3 years older than him, he's just a better prospect than somebody who doesn't have that ability or hasn't shown one. It's one thing to be a good two way player, have a likeable character and throw your weight around and it's another to have that "it" factor about your game when you're just that dangerous offensively. The poll asks for ”top prospect”. If “highest ceiling” is your only measuring stick, good for you buddy. I’ll have Hutson at 2.
Edit: I see this was already addressed so moving on.
