it is something they can turn on and off. not really that hard to turn off when games are entirely meaningless and turn on when its playoff games. seen it plenty of times.

We'll agree to disagree. I know if you asked Brindamour if he believes (or wants the team to believe) losing these games is OK, he'd force you into the weight room for asking such a stupid question.

Watching the capitals broadcast and I love their announcing team. I wish all local broadcasts could show enthusiasm about the opponents’ plays the same way they can for their team…. Mike and Tripp are pretty guilty of not doing this

Breath of fresh air, can tell they appreciate the game
Hard pass those guys voices are so f***ing hard to listen to. Dont get me wrong they do a great job but they are literally the TV version of having a face for radio.

Interesting, I quite like the PBP guys voice, his goal call is great imo
Joe Beninati is one of the best in the biz, but the color commentator, Craig Laughlin, is one of the worst. He exclusively refers to Capitals players by their nicknames. It's a constant stream of Willy, Ovie, Carly, and until very recently, Kuzy. Drives me up the f***ing wall.

I watch the other teams feed about 90% of the time, just to get away from our guys. I like the Caps too.
Joe and Craig are most likely the least biased crew there is, I just can't stand their voices to be honest. They have always been very complimentary of the Canes at least since 19' i just don't like listening to them like nails on a chalk board

I get it, they are both pretty different sounding. I imagine they’re polarizing. I don’t think I liked them much early on, but they grew on me. They do a really good job overall.

So other than a single 24 save shutout, this is Kuemper's highest SV% game of the season, and only like 1 save away from being the most saves he's made in a game (in which he allowed 2 goals on 41 shots...against Minnesota)
