Watching the capitals broadcast and I love their announcing team. I wish all local broadcasts could show enthusiasm about the opponents’ plays the same way they can for their team…. Mike and Tripp are pretty guilty of not doing this

I'm listening to them on the radio and I noticed that this game Mike was noticeably more enthusiastic calling the two Caps goals than usual (this was before I read the above). Maybe it was because of Ovi chasing the record, or maybe he read your post, lol. Will be interesting to see how he sounds going forward.

Think of how many games over the last X years where we’ve had chances on the powerplay to tie or win the game in the 3rd period and did ****all with it.
