Leonard and Wilson on a line just for a few shifts to see them be the bash brothers
While Leonard will play a physical game, I don’t see him as a physical player. Maybe I have to watch him more, but he seems to be a guy will play the body, but not in a big hit type of way. More of an agitator style. Will be interesting to see his game at the NHL level.Leonard and Wilson on a line just for a few shifts to see them be the bash brothers
When they brought in Beauvillier and paired him with Dowd and Duhaime, it became obvious to me that they were leaving the 3RW (Raddysh/Frank) spot open for Leonard. I have not seen anything to change my mind on that.Seems like a lot of over-thinkung going on. Leonard's likely the RW3 and is going to play. Doesn't seem too complicated.
I don’t know why people are down on Eller. He does what a third line center should do. If that line was more offensive people would bitch about them giving up goals, which they would. Solid. Veteran presence. Great for playoffs.
Pretty sure you are correct. You would think that if they were going to send someone down they would've done it before signing himSo, the Caps don't need to make a roster move to bring in Leonard because they still have cap room with the LTIR relief and roster limits are relaxed after TDL, right?
Well you previously suggested he won’t be that impactful, so that is about to get tested finally.I wonder what is going on in the kid's mind right now. Everyone is going crazy over him signing on the eve of the playoffs like he's some sort of messiah and I can't wait to see how he responds. That's a lot of weight on a 20 year old's shoulders but hey, when you get this kind of spotlight and opportunity you better convert on it.

Agree, it's like muscle memory for some.Connor McMichael could win MVP and I think this board would still want to bench him
Emphasis on "that", yeah. Never said he will flop.Well you previously suggested he won’t be that impactful, so that is about to get tested finally.
Strome is not surviving that line for more than half a period so yeah, half a period at best.Ovi - Protas- Leonard
CMM - PLD - Wilson
Mangiapane - Strome - Beauvillier
Eller/Dewey- Dowd - Raddysh
Never said you did. I’d have to find your original quote, but didn’t bother. You didn’t seem very impressed by him previously, so hopefully he corrects that quickly!Emphasis on "that", yeah. Never said he will flop.
Not sure if this is real, being April 1st and all. Says Raddysh is out and he's with Strome and Protas.
I'm sure Carbs and coaching staff are going to make him comfortable and advise him thatI wonder what is going on in the kid's mind right now. Protas -- like McMichael, Beauvillier, and Leonard himself -- is not a center.I want to see CMM - PLD - Wilson as the most 'set' of the lines as they all complement each other so well.
I would like to see both Ptotas, Beauvillier, and yes Leonard get some reps at C just to see if anyone takes to it better than expected, which sets up a lot of flexibility and some level of confidence if there are any injuries.
I also want to see this for half a period...
Ovi - Protas- Leonard
CMM - PLD - Wilson
Mangiapane - Strome - Beauvillier
Eller/Dewey- Dowd - Raddysh
I'm not sure I've ever witnessed hatred of Eller.Protas -- like McMichael, Beauvillier, and Leonard himself -- is not a center.
The lengths people go to just because they have an irrational hatred of Eller ...
I agree 100%. I am very happy he’s “signed sealed and delivered”, but everyone needs to pump the breaks.I wonder what is going on in the kid's mind right now.
