Saw that. So weird.I think there's a thread fragment on our board that's part of a main board thread (the coaches thread)
If there’s someone in the current top-6 to move it’s probably McMichael, but I don’t think nor he or Protas are viewed as centers in the NHL right now. I’d been beating the Marner-drum all season long because I think he’d be a perfect fit with Strome on that 1st line long term.Hey y’all, I’m a Bruins Fan but come in peace. Goodluck this postseason. Can’t wait to see Ovi break the record and follow up with a cup!
I’m curious about your roster future, considering how many great top 9 (more like top6 honestly) centers you have - PLD, Strome, McMichaels and Protass being natural centers, and Leonard incoming.
With Protass signed long term for cheap (calling it, this will be considered the best contract in hockey for years to come), could McMichaels get traded before he goes to RFA next summer? Strome? What do you see the most likely scenario being if they wanted to have a natural winger, and grab say Ehlers or Boeser, or even Marner this summer?Just seems like there is an opportunity, especially with Leonard’s trajectory, to make some extra room to sign Chychrun or whatever, to capitalize on moving someone in the short term.
Cheers
