Boyd Gordon?

Actually it looks like Wes Jarvis .
All I know is it isnt Alan Haworth.

Gilbertson
I think we may have a winner. I couldnt even muster a guess... that had a chance of being right.

Agree that Lappy and Vrana, Vrana and Miro, and Lappy and Miro aren't an option. That's why try Lappy, then try Miro - in either case, if you have to shorten the bench or protect a lead in the 3rd, you move Mangiapane up to 1LW.

You could also look at moving Vrana up to the 1st line, and having Lappy or Miro slot in there.
Vrana would not be able to play against 1st line d-men! No offense but sometimes some ppl here don't think. Usually you shift someone from the 2nd line to take OV's spot. Someone from Hershey probably will be called up. The likely candidate would be Miro, since he's a 1st winger with the Bears.

I mean, with all due respect...what is this silly shit?

"I tore my ACL playing frisbee"
"I stepped awkwardly in dog shit and sprained my ankle"
"I hurt my knee on a late night expedition to the fridge for a piece of cheese"

Nobody here has a clue what Ovie's injury is so why even bother comparing it to other injuries you or other hockey players have sustained?

Just be patient and wait for the official info.

Is there a team with a better defensive depth? Maybe Carolina?

Carlson, Chychrun, Roy, are all first pairing dudes for sure. Sandin is playing like one this year and I expect him to stay on that level. Fehervary is a top 4 D. And TVR is probably a #4/#5 on most teams. That's a lot of good dudes.
Yer a lot of good dudes!

Oh wait, I don’t even know what that means.

Ok everyone, please just carry on, I will show myself out

I think that is Guy Charron.
The quality of the photo may be off, but looking back, Charron had VERY dark hair.

Looking at photos, Gilbertson had very straight, fine hair. Looks more like Wes Jarvis.

Fun fact......I have a Mike Siltala game used/issued stick in my garage that I bought at the Cap Center way back when.

Yes, I'm old.

Couple crazy ideas for lines:

* Move Duhaime up to 1LW (bring up Rybinski for 4LW)
* Frank up to play 3RW - Mangi to 1lW
* Rybinski up to play 4LW - Duhaime to 3RW - Mangi to 1LW
* Of course the Miro to take OV spot sounds fun but this is NHL and I’m not sure Miro (or Caps) are ready for that.
* Could also bring up Miro and play him at 3RW or even on 4th and move up Duhaime. I think this is more likely if they call up Miro.

Duhaime doesn’t have the skill set to play on that first line.

What makes you think duhaime should be playing 1LW? He's doing well at 4RW, but I just don't see the transition to 1LW.

It ought to be Miro. That kid knows how to shoot the puck.

On his show with Bourne, Kypreos said he heard from someone with the organization that it might be a hairline fracture, but need to wait for the swelling to go down to get a definitive image. He used to play for us and still has relationships with people in the org, so who knows how good the info is. It was at 1 hour and 28 minutes into today's episode.
