who's ready for Strome Szn?

I am legitimately excited for Dylan Strome. On top of some pretty good impact metrics throughout his career, over the past 4 seasons he's at 2.02 points/60 at 5v5. That's better than everyone on the Capitals except for Ovechkin and Kuznetsov. And I suspect he will fit in on PP1 nicely.

I think he'll be a good 2C who will have the ability to play 1C for short periods if needed, and that's exactly what Washington needed to find this offseason.

Long ago I thought that Axel would replace Hagelin and then once again. Wrong both times. If I knew the game I'd be in it.

Disappointing that Johansson is in, but not surprising. What did he do this preseason to earn a spot? Has his performance over the last 3-5 seasons or so earned him a spot over McMichael (or Snively for that matter)? How does his inclusion help the team in the spring?

Good for Protas for earning his shot in the top 6.
