Are you serious? They just showed the replay three times in slow motion. It was deflected and changed direction.

On normal speed, it looks like it was deflected a tad. On slow speed, it looks like Hank should have gotten it regardless. I'll give Hank the benefit of the doubt here since slow speed normally lies.
