To play in Hershey for the next 2 years?Hot take: Cole signs. He’s pro-ready.
Half and half. The skill and talent are already there. I think he only needs a year in the A to bulk and adjust to the physicality of the pro game, then will be full-time NHL-ready by ‘26-‘27.To play in Hershey for the next 2 years?
His brother stayed for 2(so did Makar), BU has a great young team with a great goalie who's probably coming back, and he needs to bulk up and get stronger which is much easier to do in college than in the AHL. He's definitely ready offensively, but the Caps love to let their prospects overcook..Half and half. The skill and talent are already there. Play in Hershey most next season
This has been insanely fast for Gopher hockey. Give Chesley at least til Friday before worrying. It's been less than 48 hours. Howard and Augustine, who were eliminated on the same day, have not signed yet.
Maybe there's a serious issue. But I don't think we can know this early.
Wasn’t there a report just yesterday that he’s planning to return to BU next year? But also, the results of this tournament could influence his decision.Hot take: Cole signs. He’s pro-ready.
Man, that was way too similar to the Lafontaine Easter goal, made me sick to my stomach with Hockey PTSD, even though I'm pulling for BU. Lol.BU wins it in OT
Our RW depth (and winger in general) is absolutely stacked. He's not signing here.Caps should try to sign Quinn. Just for the bloodlines / hell of it / to make Cole more comfortable when he comes out.
They should sign him because he's a good player but I think unfortunately he'll have better opportunities elsewhere.Caps should try to sign Quinn. Just for the bloodlines / hell of it / to make Cole more comfortable when he comes out.
Lane? They should sign him because he's a good player but I think unfortunately he'll have better opportunities elsewhere.
Great game from Lane today. I really do not have any opinion on him staying another year vs. turning pro, either option is perfectly fine for him
Yeah, I know, hence 'try'. He'd have a hill to climb to play in Washington. They should sign him because he's a good player but I think unfortunately he'll have better opportunities elsewhere.
