GDT: Caps @ Bruins 3.16.2013 1 PM

I am still pissed mr norris tripped oleksy who had made a great stickhandling move to get around him.

Is OV still playing? I think I saw him earlier in the game.

I have to say, i'm kinda sad Ovi didn't show up physically this game, team coulda really used it, but its hard to blame him when hes practically been alone in the physical department for years, in games like this.

Seeing this team play, the colours are just perfect.

Unheralded story of the game - Karl Alzner almost recorded his first career shot on goal.

rofl so true, I think hes so overrated by caps fans. Idk why people think hes so amazing, he may not make as many mistakes as say, a shultz, but he isnt physical, has no offensive upside, and vanishes all the time. Imo hes a career 4th - 5th defenseman (which also shows how ****** our defense is lol)

At least I saw them life the Cup...once.

Can't say the same about this sad sack organization.

Based on the fact they have been in the league for what 75+ years? And have very few Cups to show when they played in a 6 team league, have had an unlimited budget for numerous years, and spent way above other teams when there was no cap, I wouldn't call them a very successful franchise. Better than the Capitals? Sure, but that's not hard. Atleast Capitals fans have been realistic with the team and expectations, Rangers fans think they are going to be the favorite for the Cup every year.

Subtract an own goal by the Bruins and the Caps are shutout by another backup goalie no one has heard of before. Says it all.

On the bright side, at this point missing the playoffs is better than another playoff appearance that doesn't get past the 2nd round.

Oh and **** 55.

yeah good thing the Bruins scored on themselves or else this would have been another 4-0 shut out. Not good at all, I believe out standards are starting to drop to full tank mode when we're just okay with todays performance
