All coaches have a shelf-life, amd unfortunately for Bednar, we're witnessing him rapidly approach his expiry date. Fortunately for Bednar, the organization is 100% loyal to him, and I won't be shocked to see him here for the duration of his contract. So buckle up folks
As for Girard, he is what he is. He's fantastic at skating the puck out of his zone. He plays mostly well against teams that try to out-skate us. However, any time a team tightens up, plays more physical, forechecks hard or pressures the defensemen's passing lanes, he crumbles. We've seen this time and time again. It's why he has the reputation that he has, especially come playoff time, where teams are more likely to employ those tactics.
And just like Bednar, the organization is loyal to him, and we won't see him moved until the end of his contract
