PLD pushed into their keeper by their d-man. But the challenge is for playing the puck with a high stick? When was that instituted?
Edit: I understand a review to see if they crew missed a puck hitting the netting. This high stick stuff is beyond reasonable.
So the challenge can be brought for any missed stoppage? Like when a cleared puck glances off a player on the bench but the linesmen miss it? How 'bout a missed icing call (or is that considered a judgment call)? [not directed at you, @AtG8, I'm just kvetching]Last season, it's a missed stoppage of play supposedly.
EDIT: Clear high stick. Rule sucks even when it's in favor of the Caps.
It’s any missed stoppage in the offensive zone. We’ve seen missed hand pass, high stick, hitting the safety netting. It sucks, but that’s the rule.So the challenge can be brought for any missed stoppage? Like when a cleared puck glances off a player on the bench but the linesmen miss it? Yeah, I agree. I think being just bad enough pre-deadline isn’t the worst thing given the position we’ve put ourselves in so far, give an extra push to fix our flaws without doing something drastic.I do not mind some regressioning giving Patrick license pre-deadline at all.
Almost like one team had 3 pps before the other got one with 130 left in the periodDoubled up in shots…again. This is getting worrisome.
