He needs his brain rewired like Jack had his. He’s still creating some nice set ups but his shot is too good for him not to be taking it upon himself to be flinging pucks at the net.

Palat kinda stinks and I don't care that he's an advanced stats darling. Actually, it's probably more of Ruff forcing him to play higher than he should be and me wanting to see Holtz be given a shot to not play with scrubs. There's only one guy ahead of Holtz with 5v5 goals for and it's Toffoli.

The ironies and contradictions that get exposed here are always funny and interesting too...like the advanced stat junkies who are always so much about the process moreso than the results...are now routinely citing the team's W/L record in response to legit criticism of how they have played for 13 games now.

Hope Glen will not kill me, but I think Bratt is a perfect player to make a step from the back of the best players.But when he should be number one without any real driving force except him, he isnt as flashy and consistently great. It doesnt make him bad, he doesnt have salary to be true number one at least. I just talk about how I see his game when he is perfectly on and when he isnt on his top.
I do think the coaching is being exposed with the team being undermanned so to speak. You look at how other teams in recent years have been able to weather injury issues by falling back on structure and putting an extra emphasis on it. But it’s a double edged sword because he probably has been further doomed from atrocious goaltending but that can also save him because of it being the case.
The only thing this team needs is a better coach and a little structure. That’s the only thing. The talent is there, even without Hughes and Hischier.
I think Ruff’s most devious quality is that he’s just good enough of a coach to keep things from falling to pieces. If he was worse, he’d be long gone. But he’s still here, just barely doing the minimum amount of work required to not get fired.

It doesn’t help when you guys treat every single negative comment as a troll, especially when some of us are at the game and would prefer to actually be watching it instead of having the team suck and trying to babysit you guys when the team gives up on the iceLove this place, but always sort of found it weird how chirping is frowned upon but the obvious trolling that leads to said chirping is fine.

I havent felt neagtive posts getting hammered. honestly, I dont recall one positive post since 2-0--- it's been an avalanche of negativity-- and it's deserved.
We all understand it could turn on an dime and we all hope it does, And if it does, it doesnt diminish the good points being made on the negative side.
