They better do a much better job of forechecking in second period. Bottom line

Kershaw -- sad but true. Oof. If we go up by a couple of goals they should be benched. How's that? You're right that we can'f afford to bench them. I would give Boyle their ice time, though.

The chances of Nash splitting the defense is pretty miniscule.

I am really wondering where Stepan's head is too.

Good period after they recovered from the Caps goal hangover (good first couple of minutes before that, too). Fun period to watch. First Caps goal sucked. Wish we could get some deflection goals like that. I'll take any amount of luck this team can get at this point.

It's inexcusable to get beat by a faster player?

OK, then. Del Zotto didn't play the angle bad. He just got flat out out-skated. Dude needs to go to a power skating clinic.

I agree with you there, he would really benefit from it, I'm angry with him because this isn't the first time he reads a play too late and pivots a second late. If Del Zotto can't win a foot race with grinders, how is he a top 4 defenseman? He's soft for a D-man, tries to skate away from contact ALOT of the time, and doesn't seem to have his pulse on the defensive side of things. No wonder Del Zotto-Girardi was brutal...

Rangers are playing intimidated. They are second guessing everythinbg they do, not moving the puck fast enough. They are letting the Caps bully them by skateing circles around them like a shark feeding frenzy.

Losing Dubi and Prust hurts.

It's just something we have to deal with if he can't correct it, unfortunately. Del Zotto and Girardi should not be paired together, though. No foot speed between the two.

Dont think the Rangers win this game playing like that. And they've been outplayed pretty much 140 minutes in the series.
