1. I wasn't bashing Danault, and I certainly wasn't bashing him for being french canadian. I'm not really into the whole internalized racism thing.

2. Yes, I have bashed Therrien many times for that very reason. I bash him all the time.

3. My initial post was a prediction. Although I love Danault (as i have stated multiple times on this board) and think he will be the perfect 3C, I can't help but have the feeling that he will stick in the 1C spot. I wouldn't be surprised if the habs acquired a 2C at the deadline and moved Chucky to the wing in order to run Danault-New 2C. I dont think hes a long term top 6 forward .

That's just me though, obviously you disagree. Nothing wrong with that.

The thing about Danault is his ability to produce under pressure.
We have had very few success stories similar to his in decades.
He took and earned every bit of icetime at every opportunity he got.
When was the last Hab we can say that of?
I'm talking High level play all over the ice.
Danault is doing what Gallagher did only Brendan relied soley on energy.
Philip is a complete hockey player.
My best guess is he is Pleky's long time replacement with Lehk and a 200ft game.
However we need to continue to allow him to play these top minutes as long as Chucky struggles.
