Their first period was pretty good for the most part, at least until the end when they gave up their first odd man rush.

The main issue was some stupid penalties, but other than that, the Leafs were all over the Habs in the first period (and for much of the game).

The start of the first period there were a crazy amount of lazy passes and half assed efforts from what I recall
