Their goalie was a wall. Not much you can do about that.
I can see why Thompson rarely loses. Very steady and when he's not, there's horseshoes everywhere. Lol.
We've outplayed them but you just know they're getting the 3-1 tally soon.
We're not a good special teams club and it'll be the death of us.
Our pps have the imagination on the pp of refried beans from taco bell gone bad
I hit a +440 on Protas and a +338 on Ras, Bison & Wilson all having 2+ sog.You called the score.did you win big on any bets?
Also Jake Bean is not good with the puck, nor his skating is any good... He has been a disappointing signing.
We played well considering the roster we iced but Thompson is the best goalie in the league. Barrie looked effective
Might be time for Yegor to see the pressbox or the injury reserve
When I want us to lose we win, when I turn the corner and want us to make a playoff push we lose, the f*** man...
Flames are somehow not getting rinsed defensively with our entire left defense side not having one top 4 d-man, but my God do we need to find some scoring.
Bean was a mediocre signing at best before the ink even dried. It was a shot in the dark hoping a local kid that wants to be there would find his game and that he'd increase his value.Hate to say it since I know he’s a Cowtown boy, but it’s true.
This was a very winnable game. The Flames had stretches of some pretty decent hockey, but that stupid Coleman penalty is what ultimately sunk them imho. Caps scored on that PP and never looked back. Oh well, on to the next one.
The problem is with Zary injured, we don't really have another center to use on the PP, unless we demote Rango to PP2 but I don't see that happening. Not going to be too fussed about that one. Thought the Flames were actually the better team throughout. Their goaltender was great and the Caps capitalized on their chances. Protas and Lomberg both had breakaways and one finishes the other doesn't.
Please take Backs off the PP. Liked Barrie for the most part.

They said it was an ice-time thing, they feel it's better for him to get huge minutes in teh AHL than tertiary minutes in the NHL. I don't necessarily disagree, especially if he'd be playing with Kuzmenko. They sent a perfectly good centerman down to the AHL this week who was leading the league in goals and had 4pts in 5 games while he was up with the Flames. Why? Who the f*** knows lol
If it was to play in the the AHL all star game then I'll allow it but bring him back up immediately after.
Pretty sure Backs hasn't scored a PP goal since the first Donald administration.
Is the opposite of Protas, Qantas?
Hmm... the dude was flying and his goal was down under Wolfie's blocker... dude might basically be Qantas.
This Protas guy just keeps improving, never heard of him before a few weeks ago and saw he's on pace for 68 points, big big center. Jealous of Washington, they also drafted his brother who is having a decent year in the CHL.
