I have been watching a decent amount of hockey, what I am seeing is the league is passing the canucks by again at the start of the year like early last season when green got canned. Sub par teams are playing hard with renewed optimism, energy levels, and excitement, and like last year this core is coming out playing like its game 50 of the season.

They cant seem to match the pace or effort level of any team right now.

They are just getting it over with earlier. Makes the rest of the game easier with no expectation to perform.

But honestly Seattle was all over them from the get go. Easily could have had another couple of goals. Hell Schwartz should have had two goals himself.
