any truth to the NJ rumour?
I imagine the Canucks have checked in with every American team that is either good and/or located in a desirable city.

And I imagine every one of those teams with real playoff aspirations has shown interest of some level.

So yeah NJD is likely interested and the two teams have likely discussed. But who knows how serious they are about it.

What is wrong with Vancouver.

Their players (and their market) are too good for them to be this constantly dysfunctional.

This fish must rot from the head.
Not enough palm trees apparently.

Honestly though, some players/people are too abrasive when the team is losing. Wheeler had that issue with the Jets, Sutters last year as coach in Calgary. List is long on examples.

I cannot trust a man who spells per se “per-say”
Never HF browse n type whilst under the influence, I fall victim to this quite literally every day

The Blake Wheeler situation in WPG was similar but J.T. seems to want full control of an entire locker room. I don't think Wheeler had that mentality he just didn't get along with certain guys in WPG.

Miller is like the player equivalent of Torts.

He has an abrasive hardass, win-at-all-costs guy and that kind of thing can really get a team going.

Unfortunately both are quite immature and when adversity hits, they don't know how to dial it back and eventually lose the room.

I don't think you know what escrow is.....

That's not what escrow is.

This explains a lot of these comments lol.
The NHL and players agreed to split 50-50, but the math early is based on projections that sometimes the league beats or falls short of. If it falls short the players give it back

The league auto collects a % of each check until they see the real numbers and can return all, some, or none

What did I miss beyond that? I said I didn’t read the article.

Any ‘legit’ reports on what the return from NY would be?

I can’t believe EF said JT was almost pulled for the trade?!
The health scratches for Hartford were:
Chmelar, Sykora and Groulx except Groulx was called up, so replace him with 1 nyr center. Probably Chytil. Maybe some other pieces/picks

Pretty much this, the other guy is just trying too hard.
Only thing that is slightly different is the league paid the players during the pandemic despite the hockey rev being short so they have been using the escrow to pay off that debt. Now the debt is paid off, there is no need to have an escrow because with the cap artificially low, hockey rev split is nowhere close to 50/50.
