Then he comes here for extra time off.Bennett earns his money in the playoffs.
That's because he let Naslund walk and sent Liden to retirement. Both very good decisions since Linden wanted another year despite the fact that he could barely skate and got beat up Zack Stortini of all people. Nonis would have given Nazzy the 2x5 that NY gave him plus he would have given Linden another year.No cap, Gillis had a ton of cap since Nonis didn’t do shit.
Benning left behind like a bunch of cap anchors and no anything.
yes, but Nonis didn't do some stupid ass shit such as trading for Brad Richards and giving up 1st Edler and Kesler and we had Benning trading a 9OA for a anchor in OEL.That's because he let Naslund walk and sent Liden to retirement. Seeing Guenther play against us hurts so bad.Honestly the only reason I ever supported that deal was because of Garland. But it was a f***ing trojan horse of a deal that has hurt us spectacularly as many had predicted.

i think that lineup sorely needs another right handed centerman. especially on their strong side during pk moments/ offensive zone time. No to brock boeser. basically same lineup but with two new additions. where is debrusk?Hoglander - Pettersson - Boeser
Ehlers - Chytil - Lekkerimaki
Joshua - Bennett - Sherwood
O’Connor - Blueger - Karlsson
Hughes - Willander
D-Petey - Hronek
M-Petey - Mancini
Demko

Going to get so much flack for this but if Boston is looking to retool...
How crazy would it be to re-acquire Elias Lindhom?
Maybe Boston retains $1M and we give back Chytil.
We know how much the management and coaching group loves Lindholm. Zacha and Middlestadt looks to be their future 1-2. Boston probably wants to get rid of Lindholm given their retool. $1M to retain is peanuts given the cap increases.
This would put Lindholm at $6.75M. He doesn't need to come in and score 70/80 points to be worth that contract. If he's a solid two-way center that can play 20 minutes, matchup against top line players, and score 50 points, he'll be mostly worth that money. I think Garland would work great with him since Lindholm isn't really a play driver, more of a supplementary guy on the offensive side of things. He was an odd fit for us last year because we already had Miller and Petey, but now the 2C spot is wide open and fits him perfectly.
I know it's a crazy thought, but given the options available, I don't think it's that outlandish.
Allvin must thank his lucky rabbit's foot every day, that he got outbid for the services of both Lindholm and Zadorov.Going to get so much flack for this but if Boston is looking to retool...

I'd like reg season Ehlers and playoff Boeser in one player.Ehlers is almost as good as BROCK BOESER
Almost
Except playoffs
Bennett contract will age like milk, he doesn't come with Tkachuk included.
Ehlers meanwhile is hovering around PPG with Vlad Namestnikov as his C and Cole Perfetti
Biggest concern with Ehlers is is atrocious playoff stats
I'd like reg season Ehlers and playoff Boeser in one player.
well he's been in the playoffs 6 times already so I am not sure you can attribute that to luck but I also believe that players really only need 1 good playoff series to really figure out how to be good in the playoffs.Ehlers’ underlying playoff numbers aren’t great, but he’s also had pretty awful EV SH% luck - 2.8% individual SH% and 4.6% on-ice. He might be worse in the playoffs but not that much worse.
