I’ll be shocked if the Canucks were able to trade anyone for a return that they then immediately flip. I get that they did it with the Penguins but there’s so much more time pressure now.

Not that I wouldn’t be impressed, if it happens.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they do it with the Boeser return if they trade him. I bet they’ve been having these conversations with teams for a while and have something close in their drafts. Sort of like the Miller/MPetey moves.

Calgary is winning tonight, Blues won again. Hopeully they'll be willing to take futures and cap space with an eye on the summer because I'm not convinced they're making the playoffs.
This team is still a mess and should not even be in the playoffs.I don't want to watch us get demolished in the 1st round..Sell what we can and consintrate on next season..And for God sakes get rid of Tocchet.

Trying to even find teams that are likely interested in Brock is tough, especially in the east, that'd also pay more for 50% ... Like idk.

I want to go through rosters for sick prospects and fantasy trade returns.

Going to be a wild ride for the next two days.

This team has no identity and is a long shot for the playoffs, they need to be sellers

This is your Twitter handle isn't it?

The team isn't a mess.

Lankinen/Demko is good goaltending.

Hughes/Hronek/M. Pettersson/Myers/E. Pettersson/Forbort/Mancini/Willander is a good defense.

Joshua/Chytil/Hoglander/O'Connor/Blueger/Sherwood is a good bottom 6.

The problem is just the top 6.

DeBrusk/Garland are good complementary wingers but a lot of hinges on Pettersson and which version of him we will get. Same goes with Boeser if he stays. I'd say we are two top six players away from being a really good to great team.

It's definitely a 'seller's market' so far. Some of the prices teams are paying for basically 'depth players' is pretty steep imo.

Boeser, Suter and Forbort, all on expiring contracts--should attract offers that could be hard to turn down for the Canucks.

The only reason Soucy didn't attract more suitors, was the year left on his contract at $3.25m. So trading him without any salary retention was a pretty big return in its own right.

Lekkerimaki also should be given a shot. Move on from Boeser.

Yup, if Petey can get going and we add a couple more legit top six guys, we're in really good shape.

With how fast they turned the D around (😏) I think the cue balls can pull it off.
