They really shouldn't have to retain on Suter. They're obviously at least trying to trade Boeser with retention.

Really lucky on how that pick turned out. From being a joke (We have all your Elias Petterssons), to a third round pick who actually made the Canucks roster as a 20 year old kid, basically now beating some first round picks from that draft. Sometimes miracles to happen even for us.

it sucks to lose jt miller but what can you do. he wanted out and it was clear. even if there was no pettersson/miller drama, im sure he would want out still. he was done with canucks and losing here. when canucks fans were chanting his name when he came back he didnt like it and that was because he didnt want to be here anymore

I think if we had traded Pettersson it would have fixed things. JT is just pissed that our highest paid player is not giving it 100%. You're not ever going to get a player like JT again, just that ultimate power forward who can match up with the best (McDavid).
