Willander is weeks a way, might be their thinking. If Soucy is dealt, and the bottom pairing is EP2 and Forbort (which is fine) it leaves them with the almost certain expectancy that Juulsen will suit up at some point. Which is really not acceptable.
True, and I suppose this isn't the worst time to gamble given that, as it stands, they aren't likely to win the Cup this year. And I would far rather see Willander get a shot than Juulsen any more. But Soucy has some life in him yet, I'd warrant.Willander is weeks a way, might be their thinking.
Not really an awful lot of interest in anything, at F or D, outside of Bedard on that roster.
Given the Canucks are rumored to be looking for a top 6 C, I suppose maybe it could be Teuvo Teravainen? He's produced fairly consistently over his career, has plenty of playoff experience, and we have the cap space to absorb his $5.4M hit over the next two years.
Just guessing based on what the Canucks are rumored to be after. I think the Canucks want speed - I haven't seen enough of Teravainen to know if that's a big part of his game or not.
I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time.My point isn't that I don't think the medical team could f*** this up, only that it doesn't make sense that no one would even know of this injury given as that would imply that everyone sort of just forgot about it notwithstanding that it continued to exist and cause issues for Petey. Again, just seems farfetched to me.
How could they? NYR are a top 3 team after trading scraps for superstar JT miller. So NYR is going to blow it and give PIT a top 5 pick next year eh
I'm regularly reminded of my one visit to the company doctor when I was working in a mill town on the island. It was emphatically clear what his focus was, and it wasn't my health.I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time.
Hodgson, Dickinson, Pearson, Demko, Mik. They have a history of f***ing up hard and majority of it very recently.
