so the depth ON D for abbotsford as follows:
LD:hirose/brisbois/krill krudryavstev/wolanian
RD:felton/woo/mcward/macani if he gets sent. unless they find another rd project from another team to make it even>?

If Soucy is dealt, and the bottom pairing is EP2 and Forbort (which is fine) it leaves them with the almost certain expectancy that Juulsen will suit up at some point. Which is really not acceptable.

Unless they really think Soucy will move the needle in terms of an add-on for a big trade - or if they are moving him for a cheaper bottom pairing guy plus - it doesn't make a ton of sense to trade him now.

I could see Chicago making a big ass play for a sign and trade with Boeser. Not only do they have way too many prospects that they don't have room for, some are tantalizing centers. Plus Kyle Davidson has show to be meh.

Maybe we should have a Medical Staff thread that the people who blame everything on injuries can go there and argue away without cluttering everything.

Willander is weeks a way, might be their thinking.
True, and I suppose this isn't the worst time to gamble given that, as it stands, they aren't likely to win the Cup this year. And I would far rather see Willander get a shot than Juulsen any more. But Soucy has some life in him yet, I'd warrant.

Not really an awful lot of interest in anything, at F or D, outside of Bedard on that roster.

Given the Canucks are rumored to be looking for a top 6 C, I suppose maybe it could be Teuvo Teravainen? He's produced fairly consistently over his career, has plenty of playoff experience, and we have the cap space to absorb his $5.4M hit over the next two years.

Just guessing based on what the Canucks are rumored to be after. I think the Canucks want speed - I haven't seen enough of Teravainen to know if that's a big part of his game or not.

I really like that shout. Teuvo Teravainen was a good producer with Aho and is a slick, fast, defensively responsible pass first winger that may work well with EP40. Would be a very slight pair though, so would need some size with them (maybe DOC or Joshua)

My point isn't that I don't think the medical team could f*** this up, only that it doesn't make sense that no one would even know of this injury given as that would imply that everyone sort of just forgot about it notwithstanding that it continued to exist and cause issues for Petey. Again, just seems farfetched to me.
I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time.
Hodgson, Dickinson, Pearson, Demko, Mik. They have a history of f***ing up hard and majority of it very recently.

So NYR is going to blow it and give PIT a top 5 pick next year eh
How could they? NYR are a top 3 team after trading scraps for superstar JT miller.

So JTs only goals have gone in a 6-3 loss... Cool. So he's the same. Have fun for the next 5 years losers.

I'm regularly reminded of my one visit to the company doctor when I was working in a mill town on the island. It was emphatically clear what his focus was, and it wasn't my health.

New York lost to a Penguin forwards code that would make Benning blush. I have Shesterkin in my hockey pool, so the loss hurts doubly.
