Buyout Period: June 27th, evening; players without NMCs must be placed on unconditional waivers 24 hours prior (another buyout period opens if a team has a player file for arbitration). This buyout period ends June 30th. 8:00pm.

kovacevic is okay. would probably be better than juulsen but he's less than the sum of his parts imo. he just doesn't really seem like a competitor? maybe he'll show better on a more competitive team tho

Don't see this management team being interested in Boqvist, Lundkvist or Brannstrom.

Kovacevic on the other hand seems more up their alley if they see him as an upgrade on Juulsen and a legit #6.

We should see if we can pick off one of the Montreal D since they have a logjam. Barron and Harris are waiver eligible, Struble and Xhekaj are exempt.

I think Xhekaj would provide a lot of meanness, size and skating that Zadorov would have. But I’m guessing he’s not available barring an overpay.

What 6th or 7th defence-man play 20 mins and put up pretty good play driving numbers.

In 2800+ 5v5 minutes in the past three regular seasons, Liljegren has a 57.8% goal share and 56.4% xGoal share, both among the highest marks in the NHL among blueliners.
