Boys please remove this damn thread, I survived. I'm already in remission and the doctors said early this month that the prognosis is good. So remove this shit, back here and so forever grateful. I'd lost faith but the doctors in Singapore did a damn good job. They've send me home with the medicine, couldn't die on my kids. So still kicking, hopefully I make a full recovery and will be healthy forever. What a terrible experience it felt like I was dreaming, but I never gave up.

Lankanen dick riding is getting a little scary, some people are okay giving him 4 million aav when his goals saved above expected at 2.6 places him at 35th in the league - he's been about what you'd hope, nothing special, and with how year-to-year goalies tend to be, paying him that type of AAV with the term he's hoping for is just not a good idea.

I'd much, much rather do what Toronto did this year with Stolarz - target a backup that looks to have upside to his game

Management needs to make moves. Get rid of Juulsen and Desharnais, send them down if you have to, just get them off this team permanently. Find a cheap serviceable RD.

Then get rid of the hoglanders and heinens and get target guys that produce the same with size like Frederic, Drew O Connor, Leason, or Malenstyn. Maybe trade Boeser for a 1st and a prospect and use that along with our own assets to target a top 4 LHD.

The fact the managment has not come out and straight up said "JT Miller is NOT going to get traded, we love him here, he is going to be with us for a long time" to stop the drama is telling.

A few wins in a row will take a lot of pressure off management. I think they're open to pretty much any scenario depending on the return, including keeping both an revisiting in the summer. Assuming they turn it around to a degree and string together some wins.

I think he's legitimately been really good for the most part. He's been overplayed at times and the team in front of him has had a bunch of absolute no-show performances where his numbers took a beating.

He can't handle a true starter's workload but it doesn't look like Demko can either. Our best option may be to sign him and plan to have him and Demko split the workload 50/50.

I think they're hinging their bets to see which offers come up. If Buffalo actually puts Byram/Power++ on the table, I could easily see them pulling another Schneider surprise.

Much as people mocked us for that. It did actually work out. Schneider turned into Horvat while Luongo got us Markstrom.

Maybe because Buffalo traded Sam Reinhart to Florida for 28th pick and Devon Levi and since then he has scored 296 points in 293 games.

We're not trading Dahlin unless he asks. He's as important to us as Hughes is to you. Our defense is already far from ideal, and to lose the absolute best defenseman, without whom they cannot win a single game, no thanks. Power and Byram aren't even close to replacing him, that would be stupid.

But since they don’t watch Pettersson every single day, they don’t know his flaws. We know his flaws, and I think many of us realize that we need to move on from Pettersson ASAP while his value is at its highest.
