i love it - oh the creativity. let it flowI'm going to write a whole long-ass article on moves that weren't made.

Boys please remove this damn thread, I survived. I'm already in remission and the doctors said early this month that the prognosis is good. So remove this shit, back here and so forever grateful. I'd lost faith but the doctors in Singapore did a damn good job. They've send me home with the medicine, couldn't die on my kids. So still kicking, hopefully I make a full recovery and will be healthy forever. What a terrible experience it felt like I was dreaming, but I never gave up.

Yeah he is definitely speaking to the other GMs there, not to fans/mediaThe fact the managment has not come out and straight up said "JT Miller is NOT going to get traded, we love him here, he is going to be with us for a long time" to stop the drama is telling.
This is still gonna happen most likely.
Same and/or With Petey
JT hurt his case getting traded today, played too well lolTranslation: we are holding onto this guy until you motherf***ers pay up

I think he's legitimately been really good for the most part. He's been overplayed at times and the team in front of him has had a bunch of absolute no-show performances where his numbers took a beating.Lankanen dick riding is getting a little scary, some people are okay giving him 4 million aav when his goals saved above expected at 2.6 places him at 35th in the league - he's been about what you'd hope, nothing special, and with how year-to-year goalies tend to be, paying him that type of AAV with the term he's hoping for is just not a good idea.
I'd much, much rather do what Toronto did this year with Stolarz - target a backup that looks to have upside to his game

Maybe it’s better for Miller to go to 4 nations. Need him to have a good tourney and need Canes to absolute kick ass between now and 4 nations so the other teams will have some kind of panic. NJD should be scared. Let’s hope NYR loses a few more games then Drury will really feel the heat.A few wins in a row will take a lot of pressure off management. I think they're open to pretty much any scenario depending on the return, including keeping both an revisiting in the summer. Assuming they turn it around to a degree and string together some wins.
Buff is sitting last in the east, typically teams at that spot should be selling but I think they should just spend like a 2nd rounder or 3rd and add some pieces at the deadline to set themselves up a little better.I think they're hinging their bets to see which offers come up. If Buffalo actually puts Byram/Power++ on the table, I could easily see them pulling another Schneider surprise.
Much as people mocked us for that. It did actually work out. Schneider turned into Horvat while Luongo got us Markstrom.
that is always the plan.Translation: we are holding onto this guy until you motherf***ers pay up

Just a prediction on my part.......but my suspicion is that Miller and Pettersson both stay......and that it's Boeser and Demko who leave.
Not sure either guy would fetch a lot--although Boeser is on an expiring contact and would be a valuable 'rental' for somebody.
And some team hanging around the playoff bar, but suffering through bad goaltending, might bite on Demko.
Would be crazy but Petey for Dahlin 1 for 1?Buffalo is a strange team to read. Normally, I'd agree. Trading for a big name like Pettersson is an off season move. And maybe it ends up being that. At the same time, their fanbase is desperate for something to happen. So I could see them do it early as their setup for next year.

It's crazy from Buffalo's end. Why would they ever consider that, especially taking into consideration Petey's big dip in production the past year or so? Not to mention that huge contract. Horrible value for Buffalo.Would be crazy but Petey for Dahlin 1 for 1?
Maybe because Buffalo traded Sam Reinhart to Florida for 28th pick and Devon Levi and since then he has scored 296 points in 293 games. It's crazy from Buffalo's end. We're not trading Dahlin unless he asks. He's as important to us as Hughes is to you. Our defense is already far from ideal, and to lose the absolute best defenseman, without whom they cannot win a single game, no thanks. Power and Byram aren't even close to replacing him, that would be stupid.Would be crazy but Petey for Dahlin 1 for 1?
Hughes - Hronek
Dahlin - Willander
D-Petey- Myers

Are the Canucks tanking in the middle of their window all of a sudden? The way that most teams see it is that Pettersson just scored 100 points 2 seasons ago and 89 the season before. I think they take the gamble that he can go to those levels. But since they don’t watch Pettersson every single day, they don’t know his flaws. We know his flaws, and I think many of us realize that we need to move on from Pettersson ASAP while his value is at its highest.
