I had a lot of near death experieces. There was a time where I was gone. But during those times i just felt pure love. Those NDA (Near death experienece) was something else. I was on the hospital bed and i could see my physical body but I was floating around, and all I felt was deep love, hard to describe but I will let you folks know. I was away from my body I could see myself in the operating table, I could see what I did in this life and beyond, they showed me what I did during my life,. Hard to describe but regardless what religion you guys belive in, it was all real, I was not Grub, I was a part of the universe. Was a weird experience, but no one should be scared of what comes next.

You sure that wasn't just the shit ton of Morphines you were getting?

Grub
-As broken by Vector early this morning, Grub has signed a new max term contract.
-News came out of nowhere.
-HF Van is excited to have him back.
-Motivation to re-sign came after hearing he was to be reincarnated as a Leafs fan. Repeatedly asked @God to die instead but that wasn't an option.
i just thought that dying would be too easy of a way out of canucks fandom, so the other canadian option was the leafs

@Grub is back yall. Lets get this team rolling

Seems pretty Quiet today on The Petey/JT News eh?

Finally got around to listening to most of the hits today, and it's pretty clear there's nothing new leaking ... either it's organically quiet or the Canucks have completely locked everything down. Most of the insiders only repeating Friedman and LeBrun's reports from the weekend.

Darren Dreger's interview on Sekeres & Price.

Elias Pettersson
  • Pretty close to being traded to the Hurricanes
  • Canucks have had multiple conversations with the Hurricanes
  • Would look at the Buffalo Sabres and New York Rangers and thinks there are other teams that have at least kicked tires
  • Mentions the Columbus Blue Jackets; not saying they are deep into negotiations but there’s been at least some level of back and forth
  • Buffalo Sabre sources have acknowledged “they’ve been in it” from day one and “will stay in it” until told otherwise
  • Thinks the Canucks had keen interest in the Hurricanes package
  • Hurricanes played the trade talks as shrewd as possible; no one knew that Mikko Rantanen was the “crown jewel”
  • Isn’t 100% sure if the same package for Rantanen as what was on the table for Pettersson; maybe a different player than Jack Drury or different draft picks
  • Doesn’t feel like Jesperi Kotkaniemi was going to get it done
  • Based on the number of conversations between Allvin and Kevyn Adams, both sides know where the line is drawn
  • Sabres are willing to part with top pieces, names Dylan Cozens & Bowen Byrams, but thinks the Sabres are asking for Pettersson and something else while the Canucks may not view it that way
  • If the Canucks are so eager to move Pettersson & Miller, we’ll find out before the 4 Nations tournament
Demko
  • Can’t credible say it’s a fact that the Canucks and Hurricanes talked about him
  • Thousands of wild conversations take place before a deal is complete
Miller
  • Can see them as a Miller trade partner
  • Questions why he hasn’t been traded yet; has a NMC
  • Had a really good Dallas Stars source tell Dreger they are “not in it”
  • Teams are doing their homework so they understand what has gone on in Vancouver
  • Not sure why the deal to the Rangers broke down and isn’t 100% convinced there was a deal to be made
  • Earlier in the year, Mika Zibanejad wouldn’t waive to go to the Canucks
Canucks
  • Are looking for the best deal for either Miller, Pettersson, or maybe even trade both
  • Can’t entirely be a futures driven trade
  • A week a go, the focus was entirely on Miller
  • Allvin is making sure all possibilities are in play

God, I would do anything to trade EP to Columbus. They have an absolute treasure trove of young talent to part with compared to the rest. Which means even if they give us their 4th or 5th best U22 pieces, it's still better than many teams 1st or 2nd pieces.

Boys please remove this damn thread, I survived. I'm already in remission and the doctors said early this month that the prognosis is good. So remove this shit, back here and so forever grateful. I'd lost faith but the doctors in Singapore did a damn good job. They've send me home with the medicine, couldn't die on my kids. So still kicking, hopefully I make a full recovery and will be healthy forever. What a terrible experience it felt like I was dreaming, but I never gave up.

Go Canucks go!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The lack of a singular vision is appalling.

Letting the market dictate whom we keep and whom we trade on a week to week basis?

I'm not sure my fandom survives Cam Neely 2.0. if we deal Petey, particularly at a low ebb in his value. It's just so dumb.

The owl cat hybrid is back!!

Carolina Hurricanes & Colorado Avalanche
  • Conversations with the Avalanche started at the draft and escalated over the last 6 weeks
  • Hurricanes had other irons in the fire; names Miller & Pettersson
  • Zeroed in on Rantanen when the Avalanche thought they couldn’t sign him to an extension
  • Rantanen looked for 14m and the Avalanche were at 12m
  • Market value for Rantanen is 13-14m
  • Rantanen was confused and caught off-guard because with the days leading up to the trade, extension conversations had picked up
  • Doesn’t know if the Hurricanes are willing to sign Rantanen to a 14m contract but seem comfortable with 13m
Vancouver Canucks
  • Doesn’t think they are back to square one because have had discussions about Miller & Pettersson with several other organizations
  • Thinks the Hurricanes are pretty much out of the mix
  • New York Rangers still very much involved
  • Buffalo Sabres would love to acquire Elias Pettersson
  • Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota Wild have had some conversations
  • Dallas Stars are in on Miller
  • Wonders if Pittsburgh Penguins would re-enter on talks; had loose discussions
  • A lot of options open to the Canucks
  • Want a resolution sooner than later; believes more so on Miller than Pettersson
  • If they are going to move Pettersson, it is for a massive return and will cost teams a lot; From the Sabres, for example, would by Dylan Cozens & Bowen Byram or Owen Power & another piece and then some additional pieces on both sides
  • Wonders if Ottawa Senators enter the mix; mentions willing to move Josh Norris in a larger trade and Thomas Chabot’s name is out there depending on who you talk to
  • Miller wants to find a resolution and have the situation move on; whether that is in Vancouver or elsewhere
  • Canucks know which teams Miller is willing to waive for and some teams still have permission to talk to his agent
  • Not near the finish line here
Jamie Oleksiak
  • Has a NTC and a year left on his contract
  • Mentions Toronto Maple Leafs and Stars
Ryan Donato
  • Has had a good season and only a 2m cap hit
  • New Jersey Devils, Maple Leafs, and other teams looking for bottom-6 centres will call
