Did he even almost make an offer worth accepting though?Just another trade Adams "almost" made then goes to cower in a corner and do nothing like always.

Just glad that the Canucks are making a patient decision and not a short sighted one based on what have you done for me lately.
Ray Ferraro was on a Vancouver talk show and detailed how his knee tendonitis recovery was. Long story short, it affected his whole game, and he can rest 3 weeks and come back and nothing had changed. The weakness just lingers and stays there stubbornly.he's been injured
you have zero clue how tendonitis works.
What optics? again, he has played with big bad Miller for 6years and has flourished. Nothing has changed this seasone except for the fact that Pettersson was hurt in the spring and couldnt train in the summer and came into the season with no strength. Media then just gaslights the rest.
Poor conditioning could result in lower numbers. If he is injured in anyway, he shouldn’t be playing at 4 nations. It’s not just tendinitis, he obviously has some sort of injury that’s bigger, and for some reason, there’s probably some back-and-forth between the Canucks and his camp on what to do with it.
Just look at the skating numbers, you can’t drop off that significantly without being injured, it’s not possible, you would have to basically not be trying whatsoever, which is not the case with him.
There’s an injury there, and I hope this off-season he figures it out.
The real problem is that the Canucks need to make a decision by July 1 or they are locked in.
There’s no way poor conditioning can still be used as an excuse when it’s been over 40 games already.Poor conditioning could result in lower numbers. If he is injured in anyway, he shouldn’t be playing at 4 nations.
Sure it can. We see this all the time with players that miss training camp, who are able to actually train properly all offseason. If Pettersson avoided lower body training for the majority of the offseason, it could absolutely explain why his numbers are down across the board. Gaining back any strength in the middle of a season is almost impossible. There’s no way poor conditioning can still be used as an excuse when it’s been over 40 games already.
Again, if it’s an injury, he shouldn’t be playing at 4 nations, full stop. His damn captain who’s been playing his heart out all year made the decision to rest. It’s not like he’s getting better, it’s 100% an injury.
And it’s probably just on the edge, of needing surgery or not, so he’s basically just playing through it.
Again, this is just my assumption, not anything I read
Sounds like VAN had an offer they liked but decided they wanted to trade Miller more.Did he even almost make an offer worth accepting though?
According to who? They had an offer from Carolina they liked involving Necas, but haven’t heard anything was actually close with Buffalo other than that they’ve liked Byram going back to his Colorado days.Sounds like VAN had an offer they liked but decided they wanted to trade Miller more.
