This Blues team as is will not contend for a cup. That Center ice depth isn't good enough.

The notion that the Canucks won't be able to contend with "contenders" like the Blues for years should be completely thrown in the garbage.

The Blues seem to have problems with the Nucks... for some reason.

The Nucks, however, seem to have problems with everyone else.

That was a pretty strong effort. Both teams had a number of guys suffering jet lag, so I wouldn't call the Olympic as being a decisive edge for either side. Tight checking, not a lot of great opportunities - good goaltending on both sides with Lack being just a bit better. What a hustle by Hansen on his goal.

This team badly missed Henrik. Hopefully he stays healthy. Burrows looked better than he has in a while sans his jaw protector, too.

Hopefully onward and upward.

This is hilarious. If we had lost, you'd be cursing them out. Or perhaps patting yourself on the back..

Uh, no I wouldn't. I've emphasized lately that I'm perfectly at peace with the rebuilding direction this team might be taking. It irks me that that they eek out a 1-0 win because that win was clearly not indicative of the ability to make a run for a playoff spot and any further success, yet people will treat it as such.
