I wouldn't mind them if we remembered how to SHOOT in a shootout instead of just pushing the puck into the crease.

It sounds weird to say when he only got 1 point but Trouba owned that game, best game I've ever seen him play.
First bad goal Bucky has given up in a long time. He was very good otherwise. I nearly shat myself when Hendricks trotted out for the SO.
Patty needs to put D zone puck possession/exiting, on the top of his off-season training list even b4 skating. Although improving the latter likely helps the former.
I love watching this team play. They fully believe they can win every game they play.

Unfortunately he was shooting against an older goalie who was fooled by the exact move years ago.Hendricks is known for his paralyzer fake shot move and had a 60% shootout attempt at one time.The goalies finally caught on to it though.Had Gibson stayed in goal he may have fell for it but goalies are also way more patient now a days and don’t fall for moves like that anymore.

I think we could beat Anaheim, but it would be a total war. We would not come out healthy.
As great as first in the central would be, I like our chances against Saint Louis quite a bit.
As for wild card teams, Minnesota or Colorado would be beatable.

Best jet Trouba. Also Roslo should have two points tonight a assist on Laine's goal but NHL.com said Liane's was unassisted.
How does Morrissey and Armia not get in the OT both great puck possession guys it really blows my mind.Buff should not be on the ice 3on3.
Also funny Duck fans hated reffing but we got all the penalties.

Just a look at the Jets O/T record since they came back. Hey, Whaa Happened?! We doing allright at the beginning...Maybe hire Noel as the O/T coach

I read today that Hendrick's son was with the team in Anaheim where he got to go out for a meal with them and to their practice. This was a huge deal for him because he was able to meet some of his favorite players like Laine and Wheeler.
In light of this, I have to hand it to Maurice for sending Hendricks out for the shoot out ...knowing how important this game was to him personally.
There's probably not one player on the team who would begrudge Hendricks this opportunity.....and not one player who didn't take note that their coach would do the same for any one of them.
Of course, I might be completely off base here, but it's a possibility.
