Yup. Add Scheifele and Lowry to the mix and I think we run them into the ground. They don't have the speed and quickness to match the Jets, and the Jets can handle the physical play.

Post game drinking is always a good choice. Overall, this team is going far this year.
Would I have liked someone other than Hendricks in the shootout...I would have to say yes, but really you never know and he does have decent numbers in the shootout, although I did not know that, hence the earlier GIF, but hey it's still funny.
Heck, I would have even picked myself, as I am about 95% successful on one-on-one plays

Trouba was outstanding tonight. He's been getting better and better and the season progresses. I hope he's okay. Any word on a possible injury?

Last year Helle played like trash, clearly wasnt a #1 goalie so I criticized him and management beause the Jets arent going anywhere without a #1 goalie. Ownership agreed with me, thats why they signed Mason to be the #1 this year. Mason played like trash, but Helle has stepped up and is getting the job done so far and has even made the allstar team. He deserves credit for that.
I get it 100% why Laine did not get an assist as even a panic clearance by Getzlaf counts as a possession so that's textbook, but why didn't Roslovic get an assist for the first goal? I thought that he did indeed touch the puck. Maybe I need to see the doctor or at least check the replay.
Anyhow, Roslovic played pretty well today. Couple of times I would have liked to see a bit faster reaction, but on overall I did really like what I saw.
Also Connor played mostly very well on the bottom line. Too bad there was no other guys available to support him.

Would love to see more people to realize this than the usual "oh but we made mistake there and there" attitude despite winning the game or even getting a point out of it. Although thank god we aren't as cancerous as Toronto fans overall.

Morrissey needs to be more assertive in he offensive zone.
I am not the one to complain about reffing but it was awful and honestly ruined large chunks of the game for me. Letting those little picks and interferences that the Ducks were running was just awful. There were like 3 blatant uncalled ones in just the OT alone.
Most of the team just stopped playing after the Roslovic goal. Worst 3 on 3. The Jets still forcing things at 3 on 3, I think it was Perreault who tried to force pass out of his own zone that resulted in a turnover instead of being patient. That OT bored me to death.
Well earned goal by Roslovic. Lowry and Scheifele cannot come back soon enough. Wheeler looks miserable at Center LOL.
The scorers in Anaheim seem pretty stingy with assists. Most arenas would give assists on both those goals.

Whenever Wheeler has a poor game somebody will inevitably say that he is playing while hurt...same as Scheif.

nah, Mo was happy with just the one point obviously, sometimes it's just about making everyone on the team feel good and to erase any mistake in thinking that Mo is actually more than a mediocre coach!~

Recent Dano is looking bound for the pressbox again once the infirmary clears out.
I think that the Ducks "checked" the puck off of Roslovic's stick to Laine for his goal.
I guess it depends on how that contact happened as to whether he'd get an assist or not?

OK show your work then. Because I admit I couldn't find the stats over the last 5 years but I googled Matt Hendricks and shootouts and found a story from Jan 2016 about Hendricks shootout move "The paralyzer" providing great success for the Oilers. 2016 is within 5 years is it not?
