Slavin really is impressive for a rookie defenseman. Seems like he makes something happen on every shift.

Not nearly as bad as it used to be. Sabres fans show up in smaller numbers and are quieter then before.

Edit: which makes sense when you consider that the rowdy, drunken, troublemaking types on both sides were largely the bandwagon crowd.

Case in point: walking through the turnstiles, some guy yelled "Let's Go Bu-fa-looooo". Followed by a second of awkward silence, then a single female voice literally saying "yay." Then the whole crowd lol'ing.

Good to hear they're not really a problem anymore. One less takeover team to deal with.

By the Canes? or in general for both teams. The Florida game early this year one was still by far one of the worst I have seen by the Canes this year. This one pales in comparison.

This happened again a few minutes ago. Ristolainen hit Skinner well after the whistle. 4 Sabres and 2 Canes closed in on the scrum. Murphy and Jordan decided to have a sideline conversation while our leading goal scorer was scrumming with a guy twice his size.

I have no problem seeing a couple of ******* like that get sent to the AHL permanently.

Yep. Tripp talking about how Skinner is on the edge of getting frustrated. At this point in the season when we aren't going in the playoffs, an extra 2 or 5 minutes is meaningless. Have some ****ing balls.
