It's just frustrating, because there are country/folk/americana bands that have ties to the area (Old Crow Medicine Show, The Avett Brothers, Darius Rucker, and so on) that don't cross the line into hick-hop, but instead of any of them, we get this guy.

I think part of it is because NC state games happen a bunch of times every year so folks have worked out the optimal time to come. Also, for the most part, NC state isn't that good. I can't say for sure, but I'm guessing everyone doesn't show up at 2pm or has NC. state warning attendees to 'show up early'.

I remember going to game 7 of the SCF and getting there an hour early and still struggling to park and get their on time.

Anyhow, maybe it won't be an issue so I'm not saying it will, just a bit perplexing how it's been managed.

Oh I agree it’s definitely perplexing. I’m hoping with the staggered crowd of tailgaters and non tailgaters that this hype of traffic won’t be too terrible. But ya never know.

Lately PNC parking has been bad, tho in previous years I felt like they had been nailing it. They changed up the flow of things.

Agreed.

Showing up early to an event of this scale is common sense. This is not the situation to roll up half an hour before game time expecting to just figure it out on the fly. Pre-pay for your parking now (meaning right now) and have a plan for how you’re going to leave on time, take a sensible route to the stadium, and park in a pre-determined place.

Yes there will be a lot of traffic because there will be 50K people trying to get in and out, so plan for it and you’ll be fine. Don’t be the guy sitting on Trinity at 7:30pm squinting at signs trying to figure out how much the lots cost.
