I remember in 2004, the Steelers straight up overruled Bill Cowher at the draft. Cowher was banging the table for some OT that ended up being a so-so player, the Steelers FO wanted Rothlesberger. Cowher up until that point had a lot of say, but that time the FO put their foot down

Gonna put them in a tough spot but if he turns the offer down then you gotta weigh the offers before the deadline at least to see if there’s anything appealing but again I don’t see contenders moving anything other then futures which is no help to this team right now

If he rejects, then you f***ed up trading for him.
