4 wins in a row, over NHL .500, 7 points out of a playoff spot. Let’s do this thing!

I was mostly joking, partially making a point that it's all levels. We could end up with someone worse even with someone from the outside. Hazy and Ahlers are far from perfect but they're fine overall.
True it could be worse but they're not good. Not worth me typing out everything I dislike about them and tearing them down. Doesn't feel worth it, and I enjoy their commentary like a grandpa's crazed ramblings. Meaning I love them for being a part of my life, but I don't want to hear their opinions. Just smile and nod.

Really glad Leo scored that wide open shot because @robbieboy3686 would have been waking up to cold sweats over the head snap Leo would have done had he missed that
Seems he still is lacking confidence. Even in the postgame interview, he said he thought he was gonna miss.

Technically he did sort of half whiff on it, but it ended up working out because if he drills that low/middle it probably gets blocked.

As the play was developing I was telling my wife that #91 hasnt done what he needs to thisbyear. He scored seconds later and I said it’s ironic he hits a wide open net, because he sucks ass at them. Lol

A good win despite the horseshit refereeing in this one. The 4-on-4 goal was a thing of beauty.

A great first period, a poor second period, a solid third period road effort despite the bad calls, and a justified win. I'll take it.

Gibson is so weird with his disappearing between periods.

Some bad officiating, but I think they got the no goalie interference call right.

Great win. Nice to see Leo bury one for once!

They have to find the right guys if they ever replace one of them and not a guy who roots for the opposing teams.
When I watch Laker games, It annoys me how Billy Mac sounds more excited when the other team scores as opposed to the Lakers. The Ducks could easily end up stuck with a PBP guy who's more excited for the other team scoring.

This is just a theory, but it feels like Gibson (and/or the team) has learned to be more cautious with his body. Maybe earlier in his career he’d try to play through tweaks he felt in games, but then he’d end up on IR. Now he gets randomly pulled after periods every now and then, but he never misses much time beyond that.

Another game where we got slaughtered on faceoffs. We need an ace. JGP...Coyle...something. Was nearly 30 to 70 in their favor on faceoffs, which kill possession and offense.
Nico Sturm. I have been saying that for quite some time. Though if I recall correctly, he's shut down for the rest of the season, but he would be a welcome addition in the off-season. Very capable bottom sixer as well.

Good game overall. Both goalies were solid. Hope LaCombe is okay. So many questionable choices by the coaching staff. Nothing has changed my perspective on Cronin.

The officiating was awful tonight, but I don't think it was goalie interference. Boston is embarrassing though. Every time a Ducks player touched them, they dropped looking for a call. I don't remember them diving so much.

Solid win. Dostal and Gibson are just an incredible tandem.

I still really don’t like the 4th line. Just a whole lot of nothing outside of terrible penalties. Leason is hit and miss and it’s usually miss. Lundy is invisible and I don’t know what the hell the point or dressing Ross Johnston is. People will point to different guys on waivers that would be more useful than him but at this point I’m starting to wonder if ANY player waived would he worse

There are still many moments where you can see Cutter just doesn't have his confidence as a scorer at this level yet. Last night when he found himself wide open in front straight from an offensive zone draw, and just sort of rushed to shovel it on net - he can pick his spot and beat any goalie clean from there, just needs to find that mindset at the NHL level.

Lundestrom and Leason are useful killing penalties, but Johnston ??.
