Where did "probably" a month come from? I don't know the NHL's covid policies, but it seems like most Dallas players are coming back well under a month and in the NFL and NBA so far many players came back within 2 weeks.

Poor choice of words on my part. I am not strictly talking about protocol. And I should have been more precise. By "back" I meant at 100%. Covid affects the lungs, so I wouldn't be surprised if teams like Dallas look exhausted in the second half of the game. And then the question is if an exhausted Martinook is better than a Geekie at 100%.

Also, do we know why Teravainen wasn't playing a lot last game? Is there an injury or was he already experiencing symptoms? I can't imagine it was symptoms (like shortness of breath), but if it was, that's a small scandal in itself that they didn't isolate him immediately.

Assuming the players will have “Covid lung” is just that, an assumption.

I wasn’t. It’s that bad.
And living alone in this pandemic isn’t helping.
I miss playing sport far more than watching it.
Not bad at all. Writing is great and for some, a fantastic release during this time. If you enjoy it, then go for it. Mine “release” hobby is woodworking and I’ve built more stuff in the last 12 months than I have in the last 5 years.

I mean at this point everything is an assumption. But yeah, I would love for everyone to be asymptomatic and back to 100% in less that two weeks.
Absolutely. I had it two weeks ago...and most everyone here would have gone to work if you didn’t know you actually had Covid. Just a general feeling of malaise, but that was it.
I AM glad that I lost 40 pounds about two years ago, tho....

This will be a positive for the 'Canes when the regular season ends.
