You're not going to get through to the faction that believes that all Semin needed was to be trashed in the media. There is literally nothing different about Semin's game than the results. The fact that Tripp is echoing his rhetoric is only symptomatic of his wholesale support of anything the organization does for fear of being kicked out of the cool club by the front office and management. He's the biggest patsy for the team that exists, and part of the reason why having conflicting relationships within the organization can be as much of a detriment to calling games effectively as it can be a help.

His shooting percentage is finally balancing out and the pucks that were missing the top corner by inches or hitting pipes are now falling and somehow JR has something to do with that. Because Semin certainly didn't care about this season prior to those comments, right?
