Well, that was frustrating and terrible. But sometimes gross shit like this happens in sports. It's one game and doesn't really matter all that much. I know that will largely fall on deaf ears.

I think freaking out too much over a shit performance from Koch (especially with help from the boys in front of him) isn't really necessary. I think it's the first time he's allowed more than 3 goals since December or something. He's not perfect, but he's been quite good. Awful game and hopefully he learns and moves on. He has before. It might be nice to get the steadying presence of Freddie back if all goes according to plan but it's no reason to lose hope on Koch.

True.

What worries me is that he gives up bad goals (ie Ned against bolts in game 1) that can be killers in playoff games. Then loses his cool.

Plus, loses his stick too damn much.
