Our PP is so bad why not just use two Dmen so you don;t give three straight point blank shots to your opponents.

Not lot of stars ??? Lafleur, Shutt, the Mahovlich Bros, Lemaire, Cournoyer, Gainey + guys like Larouche.... They had the right blend.

Only Lafleur and maybe Shutt were considered all stars. Both Mahovlich brothers were gone by the time of the 70's dynasty. Actually Peter played one year. Lemaire had a 90pt+ season once during that period. He only played 3 years during the dynasty. Larouche had like one great year. But even he didn't play all 4 years and was traded. Trust me check the stats. It was pretty much Lafleur, with a very solid group of forwards.

How many of them are in the Hall of Fame ? For me these are superstars.
