I grew up in DC as a kid and never heard it once. That was many years ago, though.

DMV is definitely a recent, transplant thing.

Honestly dont think ive ever heard a DC local use the word.

Basically pushed on everyone by the media. The first time I heard it used was about 2010.

Uh, what? It's a thing out of hip hop. Recent transplants might have only heard about it 2010 or so, but it was in use starting in the early 2000s.

Anyway, way too early for Janurary plans, IMO. I'd be interested enough in doing something, but depends on the ticket price if we're planning on going to a game. Bar meetup for a game on TV might be far easier on wallet and on planning.
