Maybe so. At the beginning of the season I was able to watch Canes games on ESPN+ but then they showed as unavailable so I never went back to verify.

Playoffs are different. ESPN+ would be blacked out locally

I’m like 95% sure that in the playoffs people can choose between national feed and local feed. So you could watch it on ESPN OR Bally’s. I think that’s partly why on the broadcasts they kept reiterating that round 1 will be on Bally’s — otherwise people just see that it’s on ESPN and watch it there an never know any better.

The last few years when I’ve watched Bruins round 1 playoff games here in Boston I’ve been able to watch them on the national feed and avoid the horrible local broadcast and Edwards. I’d be surprised if that’s changed this year.

ECF and SCF are only national TV.

Bally crew should be doing pre and post game broadcasts no matter the broadcast network.

The Bruins thread has some well reasoned analysis of our matchup. But most are only now catching on to our goalie situation. More confusing... not one mentioned that we will sent to the penalty box at a 3x higher rate than they will.
