That ending was total trash. Largely happy with the effort, but no finish and not good enough by Reimer.
His mispass almost led to one just before, so no surprise...he's been garbage lately. Came out 1-3 against Tamp in this 4 game stand is not good.Slavin mispass leads to the EN goal
This is what exposure looks like. Im worried that the Bolts figured us out already.
No, it's just that the Bolts are the best team in the NHL. They made winning the Cup look easy last year.
These are the games we need Aho, Svech, Necas, Staal, etc. to score some goals.
It is what it is, but the season isn't getting any easier.
Yeah, the front office and even the fans have known that for a while now. Still doesn't make it suck less when it's exposed year after year. The front office has done a lot of good like with the Trocheck and Nino trades but our defense is a long ways off from where it was 2 years ago, IMO. And goaltending is still a question mark like always. Not just Tampa, Boston or any true cup contender.
Tampa played us extra rough like Boston does and our guys shut down. Too timid still unfortunately.

Tampa has punked Bean and punished him every time he touches the puck. He didn’t add anything at Tampa. Pesce looked better offensively tonight and Slavin yesterday. Is that the second night in a row that Bean hasn’t been on the ice with the tying goal available? Pesce first, Slavin tonight?
You may be right ... but when you need a goal, I fear turning to Brett Pesce and Jacobb Slavin. That’s not going to get it done. Hopefully Rod eventually trusts Bean enough to put him out there.Tampa has punked Bean and punished him every time he touches the puck. He didn’t add anything at Tampa.
