100% agreed...what's baffling is there was a time a bit over a month ago where these same guys were clicking and scoring and winning, against good teams too

We scored two goals this year against the worst defensive team in hockey, and one of the worst teams period in some time. We are over 10% of the wins for the Avs this year. The Avs have as many wins against us as we have had since February 7th.

I was thinking the exact same thing watching that period. We're in desperate straits offensively. I'm not seeing a road map out of this situation, based on what we have in the system. We need a lottery ball to bounce our way, in a good draft.

Also, the powerplay needs to be addressed. It looked a lot better this game than it has in previous ones, but at the end of the night, zero goals is zero goals.

The other so ****ing Canes part is that the 31 games before that, we were playing at a 103 point pace. So that will just lead to those lovely quotes from management about "Oh, we were playing at such a good clip there for a while. We just need to start better, and finish better, and not suck on the road, and blah blah blah, we did nothing in the offseason because those 31 games!"
